Jimmy Fallon has always seemed to have a genuine respect for his predecessors, and the history of 'The Tonight Show.' (Well, maybe not for Jay Leno, but who can blame him?)

During a commercial break in last night's show, Fallon chatted with a member of the audience who was interviewed by Johnny Carson three times over the years, and claims to be the oldest television actor alive. Bill Hayes, whose career began in 1948, still has a regular role in the daytime drama 'Days of our Lives.'
