J.C. Penney has pulled a long sleeve shirt from its website, and issued an apology for selling clothing with an inappropriate message.

The shirt read, "I'm too pretty to do homework, so my brother has to do it for me." The ad copy that accompanied the shirt on the retailer's website stated, "Who has time to do homework when there's a new Justin Bieber album out."

A J.C. Penney representative apologized for the sexist remark, and said, "One of the reasons we're so outraged is that this is not what we stand for," she said. "The most important thing was to pull it off the site. We want to make sure our customers know we are very, very sorry."
