The series finale of HBO's The Sopranos aired on June 10th, 2007...more than 7 years ago. And ever since then, fans of the show have been debating whether or not Tony Soprano (played by the late James Gandolfini) died in the last seconds of the show. The show cut to black at the last minute, with no explanation. And the show's creator, David Chase, has refused to give a definitive answer. In fact, he doesn't like to talk about it at all.

Yesterday, an article came out where a reporter from Vox.com sat down with David Chase and asked him, flat out, "Is Tony dead?"

After a moment of anger, David Chase answered the question: "No. No, he isn't."

Of course, now that the story has gone viral, David Chase's rep has issued a statement, saying that his words were "misconstrued." Either way, take it with a grain of salt. But I believe that Tony isn't dead. Does it matter? There was no plans for a movie, and there can't be now that James Gandolfini has passed away. Dead or not, it's still one of my favorite shows. :)
