The symptoms are alarming; vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, kidney failure and even death. These ailments have been reported by dog owners and veterinarians across the country and they've been linked to a best selling dog food. Are you feeding this brand to your dog?

Dog owners across the country are calling for a recall of Nestle Purina's Beneful dog food. There are 220 reported incidents listed on the consumer affairs site alone. The incidents began in October of 2012 and are ongoing, from all parts of the country. Veterinarians have reported liver and kidney infections, bacterial infections and high toxins in dogs that have been seen in illnesses related to Beneful dog food. Symptoms to watch for include weight loss, seizures, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, bloat, excessive water drinking and possible death. Beneful's Facebook page also has multiple posts from concerned pet owners.
