Inge Homers In 9th, Tigers Win 3-2

Two days in a row.  Two walkoff wins.  Brandon Inge jumped on a hanging curve ball from Texas reliever Darren Oliver and put it in the left field seats to give the Tigers a 3-2 win.

That’s two wins in a row for the first time this season, also the first series win of the year for Detroit.  The Tigers improve their record to 5-7, and are now heading west for a 7 game road trip.  First up, the Oakland A’s tomorrow night at 10.  After 4 games in Oakland, then it’s a three game series in Seattle against the Mariners.

Finally, the Tigers are showing that they might indeed be a good team.  Now, let’s see if they can win some games on the road.
