The odds of getting hit by lightning are about 1 in 700,000, and it was this guy's unlucky day.

Ryan Cross spent Memorial Day weekend camping with his buddies near Idaho City, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. When it started to hail, Ryan and his friends pulled their bikes over. Ryan leaned up against a tree to check the map when he was struck by lightning.

The bolt entered his head and exited from his back. When he arrived at the hospital, they found that he had bleeding in his brain. According to his wife, he is eating and alert.
