Hurley Foundation Receives $125K Grant for Flint Water Lasting Effects Research
Some good news regarding movement in the Flint Water Crisis.
In order to research the lasting effects of Flint's Water Crisis, the Hurley Foundation is receiving a $125,000 grant. The grant will benefit the Flint Water Crisis Pediatric Education and Research Fund which was founded and operated by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha.
According to a statement from Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the grant will help "Hurley Children's Hospital and its partner, Michigan State University, to maintain their commitment to the health and well-being of Flint's youth who have been exposed to lead."
