Hundreds of Teens Volunteer to Clean Up Flint Neighborhoods – The Good News
More than 400 Flint and Genesee county teens were part of yesterday's 2016 Teen Quest/Summer Youth Initiative Volunteer Service Day.
They took part of their summer vacation to beautify several neighborhoods in the area, including Ohio Avenue, between Iowa and Minnesota Avenues, as well as the Max Brandon Park, Civic Park and Carpenter Road School neighborhoods.
Teen Quest/SYI is all part of the Genesee Chamber of Commerce. The kids raked, cut the grass and cleaned up garbage.
More fantastic news from Flint! Thank you!
