High Schooler Shows Extreme Sportsmanship, Gives Disabled Opponent Moment of Glory [VIDEO]

Mitchell Marcus loves basketball. He’s team manager for his high school’s team in El Paso, Texas, and he also happens to have a developmental disability. Mitchell’s coach decided to surprise everyone during the team’s last game of the season, telling Mitchell to suit up, and get in the game.

Mitchell became discouraged after missing several easy baskets. But with only seconds to go, Jonathon Montanez, a player for the opponent’s team and senior at rival Franklin High School, yelled Mitchell’s name, tossed him the ball, and gave Mitchell a moment he’ll remember for the rest of his life.
