A high school baseball player from just outside of Atlanta, Georgia is being praised for showing support for an opposing team member.

At a home game for the Eastside High School Eagles a couple of weeks ago, the father of pitcher Michael Hipps Jr. suffered a medical emergency during the game and died at the hospital.

At their next home game, the team released balloons in honor of Mr. Hipps. Michael was due to throw out the first pitch against Henry County High School. Senior Jovaal Hollingshed was at bat - but before he could swing, he went to the pitchers mound and gave Michael a hug, shook his hand and offered his condolences.

Considering that high school boys are usually the last species on earth to show emotion, this is pretty special. Class act.
