Mid-Michigan Man Says His Weight Cost Him A Job [VIDEO]

A Midland man says a company didn't hire him because he's to fat.

A Midland man claims the scale cost him a job installing satellite dishes.He is suing Multiband Field Services Inc. for weight discrimination. The lawsuit alleges he was denied the job because he weighed more than 250 pounds.

The man's attorney said he was devastated. He couldn't believe his weight would be the sole reason that he was denied employment. Michigan law does not allow discrimination based on weight.  This case has some similarities to a 2010 lawsuit brought by a Michigan Hooters waitress. She sued Hooters over claims she was told to lose weight.
