Two words parents dislike very much..Head Lice!

Parents said it's not just the lice they're upset about, but the fact no one from the school bothered to notify them of the problem.The school Merrill Park Elementary School in Saginaw County.

One parent from the district said that it's the fourth time this month her kindergartner has dealt with the pest. Melina Carroll, director of student support said that a new policy this year ends the practice of sending home letters. Because lice is a nuisance... not an infectious disease.

Lesson here...check with your kids  school and see if there is a policy for letting parents know about a student having head lice. They spread so easy and without the help of the parents help the lice will not go away. What are they thinking.
