Group Hopes to Fight Flint Blight by Crowdfunding Home Demolition [VIDEOS]

A Flint author, proud of the birthplace of General Motors and the city where he grew up, is helping a group of people hoping to demolish an eyesore in their neighborhood.

Gordon Young has started this Indiegogo page, hoping to “crowdfund” the demolition of 6608 Parkbelt — a burned out, abandoned home in an otherwise thriving neighborhood. The group hopes to raise $10,000 toward the cause.
