Grand Blanc’s Alicia Woollcott Featured in New Nike Commercial

Congratulations, Alicia!

Believe it or not, this isn't about politics. This isn't about the controversy surrounding Colin Kaepernick. This isn't about whether or not you agree with taking a knee during the anthem.

This is about Grand Blanc's very own Alicia Woollcott, who is one of the stars in the new Nike commercial. If you'll recall, she broke all kinds of gender stereotypes last year when she was not only the linebacker for the Grand Blanc Bobcats, but she was also crowned homecoming queen.

I don't know about you, but politics and taking a knee never even came to mind when I watched this ad. I was emotional - I was inspired. And it was incredible to see one of our own from Genesee County featured in it!
