Nick Daily is crossing items off his bucket list. Doctors told the 16-year old Grand Blanc High School student to spend time with his family, and do some fun things after his body rejected a bone marrow transplant.

So far, the teen has driven a Corvette, fished with his uncles, and has taken a trip to Universal Studios. His mother, Martha Daily, tells ABC-12 the family is cherishing every moment they have together.

But Nick's battle has taken a financial toll on the family. His mother is currently on leave from her job as a nurse practitioner, so she can care for her son. The Grand Blanc Knights of Columbus are holding a spaghetti dinner to benefit the Daily family on Wednesday. (11/19) The benefit will be held at the Holy Family Father Bush Parish Center (Saginaw St., Grand Blanc) from 5-8 pm.
