Grand Blanc Hosts Police Officer & Firefighter Appreciation Day Saturday

To honor the brave men and women in our community police and firefighter ranks, Grand Blanc is having a day to show appreciation.

On Saturday (10/8) from 2-4 p.m., Physicians Park in Grand Blanc will host an event as a 'thank you' to our community police officers and firefighters. The event will have a presentation of appreciation, along with family events and refreshments.

The event organizers say the event's purpose is to highlight these people who are great for the community.

Their lives are placed on the line every time they walk out the door to head to work. It is so important for our community to come together and thank these officers and firefighters for their hard work and sacrifice.

The community is encouraged to come to the event and show appreciation in any way possible. A handshake, hug, or even a 'thank you' are very appreciated.
