"One Tough Nerd" wants a second term. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder will start campaigning early with an ad to play during Sunday's Super Bowl.

Governor Rick Snyder is expected to make a formal announcement regarding his intentions to run for a second term on Monday. Snyder will travel around the state on Monday and Tuesday, making stops at "five local family businesses that have flourished in Michigan under Governor Snyder." Zehnder's in Frankenmuth is one of those local businesses. He will make an appearance there on Tuesday, from 1pm to 2pm.

The big surprise to many is that Governor Snyder will start his campaign early with an ad to run during the Super Bowl on Sunday. His campaign is spending more than $600,000 on the ad which will run on Michigan Fox affiliates during Sunday's game..
