Google has pledged to donate $250,000 in grants to two different foundations to help aid in the Flint water crisis.

Patrick Lenihan, Google spokesperson says one grant of $150,000 will go to the University of Michigan to help researchers predict which homes are likely to have high lead levels without physically testing it.

The second grant of $100,000 will be awarded to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, which gives grants to to other area nonprofits. There is no word as to what this $100,000 will be used for.
