Five years after beating breast cancer, Good Morning America's Robin Roberts announced today that she's facing more health issues.

Roberts revealed that she will begin treatment for Myelodysplastic Syndrome, or MDS. It's a condition of the bone marrow and blood, and has been previously called preleukemia.

The 51-year-old anchor is optimistic about her future.

"My doctors tell me I'm going to beat this -- and I know it's true."
