'Glee' has officially resumed production on its fifth and potentially penultimate season, though only three episodes will shoot before a brief hiatus to retool following series star Cory Monteith's death. The first look at the new season has arrived from Lea Michele herself, while Adam Lambert's upcoming arc has finally been revealed as well.

Tweeting a simple "Feels so good to be home... #GleeSeason5," Lea Michele's lone photograph from production appears to show Rachel Berry looking mournful on a trunk in her New York City bedroom. Then again, the photo likely also stands for Michele herself, having been involved with Monteith prior to his death and making few public appearances since.

Elsewhere, after news of Monteith's death effectively buried stories of 'American Idol' vet Adam Lambert's guest turn on the series, Chris Colfer revealed today in a ‘LIVE with Kelly and Michael’ interview that Lambert would play Colfer's character Kurt Hummel's nemesis.

'Glee' season 5 faces a number of shakeups in addition to Monteith and series star Jayma Mays’ announced departure, as longtime series stars Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Harry Shum, Jr. have stepped down as regulars, while Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty) and ‘The Glee Project‘ alumni Blake Jenner and Alex Newell were promoted as such.

Well 'Glee'ks, what say you? Will production on 'Glee' season 5 continue as normal in the wake of Corty Monteith's death? Should Adam Lambert have been allowed to play himself on the series, or branch out? Check out Lea Michele's full photo below, and give us your 'Glee' season 5 predictions in the comments!
