Now that it's fall there are plenty of events and activities going on at the Genesee District Library. Some of their programs include virtual author chats, entertainment, crafts for the kids, computer classes, story time and more.

Halloween is just around the corner and the library has also prepared several events for the kids to participate in including pumpkin painting, a spooky tea party and decorating cake pops. You will want to register for these special events because they will fill up fast.

If you haven't taken the kids to story time yet, you should plan on joining a group at one of the various library locations throughout the county. Rod and I have read during story time in the summer and it's a great program for your kids to enjoy stories, songs and more.

I could go on forever with all the great programs and events the Genesee District Library is offering this fall for all ages. If you haven't taken advantage of the library resources, you should take some time and plan to participate in something, even if it's simply checking out a book.
