Genesee County Cancer Connection Offers Free Breast Cancer Screenings

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and it is important to know that the best chance to beat cancer is to discover it early. "Early detection is the best way to make sure the cancer does not become a fatal cancer," said David Schreiber, community coordinator for the Genesee County Cancer Connection. Free screenings will be offered this month on two different dates and locations.
October 5th (Wednesday) from 4-5 pm at the Great Lakes Cancer Institute-McLaren, and again on October 25th (Tues.) from 6-7 pm at the Genesys/Hurley Cancer Institute.
