From Store To Door: Michigan Meijer Offers Home Grocery Delivery
In a quest to never leave the house again, this is the next step.
It's also a quest to keep up with programs like Amazon Fresh and Kroger Click List, and it's brilliant - Meijer will bring your groceries to your house in as little as an hour.
Starting on August 3rd, Meijer will be partnering with Shipt to bring groceries to the doorsteps of customers in Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Birch Run, Burton, Swartz Creek, Lapeer and Davison.
You can order food and merchandise on the Shipt app - think of it like Amazon Prime. There IS an annual membership fee of $99, or you can pay $14 a month. Orders over $35 ship for free. So, that's a financial commitment you'll have to make...or not.
What do you think? Is this something you'd try? Not gonna lie, I'm IN. Any excuse to NOT wander the aisles of the grocery store aimlessly, while waiting for people to move so I can pick out which pasta I want.
