Free Lead Screening for Dogs Today in Flint [PHOTO]

The Flint water crisis is like an onion - peel it back and there's many, many more layers of it. One of the layers is how it affects our fur babies.

About a year and a half ago, the nail tech at the salon where I get my hair done was talking about her cat, and how he was suddenly very ill. She lives in Flint, and she said, "I wonder if it's the water." This was before the top was blown off of the water crisis, and she ended up having to put her cat down.

Today's lead testing is for dogs only, FYI. Bring your pups out to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church from 10-1 PM today and make sure they're A-OKAY.
