According to a United Way of Genesee County press release, Genesee County residents who are working families with low to moderate incomes, are able to receive free, professional tax help from the Genesee County Tax Assistance & Financial Services Coalition's 2017 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

There are various days and locations that are available for walk-ins, but make sure to bring all of the important tax forms that you need in order to file. Below are a few:

  • Flint Public Library - 1026 E. Kearsley, Flint, MI 48502 - Saturday Walk-ins from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. until March 25th.
  • Mott Community College - 1401 E. Court Street, Flint, MI 48503 - Fridays by Appointment only from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. until April 14th
