Free Event at Perani Arena will Spotlight 9/11 Anniversary

The 10th anniversary of 9/11 will be remembered, and the triumph of the American spirit will be celebrated with a free event, which is open to the Public, Sunday. The American Police Chaplains Association and the Genesee County Sheriff's Department are planning a very patriotic event, which promises to honor America as resilient and always responding to national challenges that face us as a nation. The event begins at 2pm, doors open at 12:30, and parking is free.

The public is invited, and all area police agencies, fire departments, EMS workers will be honored with a free gift, as a token of appreciation. Sheriff Robert Pickell will be the keynote speaker. For more information, call (810) 564-9648.
