"He'd come up and take me by the hand. And, sometimes he'd hug me, and try to get me to take him out."

Megan James-Hoffman, a substitute teacher at Elmer Knopf Learning Center, made the drive from Flint to Pontiac to pay her respects to former student Omarion Humphrey. She said that he was a "pretty cool kid."

His viewing was held yesterday, and his private funeral will be held today at noon.

So far, no charges have been announced in the case. Omarion's birth parents will be in court on Thursday to attempt to regain custody of their other ten children.
