Ford is Making a Crib That Mimics Car Rides for Infants

A different kind of good news today - the kind we wish we'd had in December of 2006.

It's called Max Motor Dreams, and it's a smart crib. It mimics a car ride - an app records a nighttime car ride, and once you're home, it recreates the feel of the ride in the crib. Everything from the muffled sounds of the engine to the gentle sway of the car.

Don't get too excited yet, though...it's still in development. And, let's be honest - when it IS available for purchase, it'll probably be unafFORDable (get it?) for most new parents. Hell, when our son was a newborn, we were cashing in jars of change to buy formula. But still, it's a nice thought!
