The holiday's are over but the need is just beginning. I stopped into the Food Bank Of Eastern Michigan yesterday.  When I walked into their warehouse it was a surprising site. Empty shelves... and lots of them.

Between Thanksgiving and New Year's, the Food Bank provided more than 2 million pounds of food for people in need - and now the staff is scrambling to restock. Complicating the matter is the fact that the Food Bank's holiday campaign has fallen short of it's $925,000 goal. The campaign is it's nineteenth year, and will run now until Jan.15. The Food Bank has never missed its goal.
