Flushing School a Finalist in Competition to Win $25,000

The Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center is one of ten finalists in the Bridgestone - Fuel The Drive contest for $25,000 in facility improvements.

The center assists people 2.5 to 26 years old, who are either severely cognitively impaired or severely multiply impaired. It was established in 2000, and they'd like to use the money to add adaptive wheelchair swings, additional interactive musical stations, wheelchair accessible merry-go-round, and other wheelchair accessible stations.
