Flint serial stabber facing second charge of murder, reports MLive.com.

GENESEE COUNTY -- Accused serial stabber Elias Abuelazam is facing a second charge of open murder in the stabbing death of 60-year-old Frank Kellybrew of Flint.

Abuelazam was arraigned Wednesday before a Central District Court magistrate and is scheduled to appear before Judge John L. Conover at a pre-trial hearing Oct. 29, according to court records.

County Prosecutor David Leyton scheduled a press conference for 10:30 a.m. today to announce new charges against Abuelazam, whom police and prosecutors say is responsible for a series of fatal stabbings here this year.

Leyton would not comment on the new charges advance of the press conference.

Kellybrew, 60, was found stabbed to death in front of Miller Road restaurant July 30. A passerby called police after seeing Kellybrew's body.
