After dealing with a huge deficit resulting in more layoffs, there's some good news for the City of Flint. The Department of Justice is giving $18.8 million to four Michigan police agencies including Flint, according to WNEM.

The money is coming from the Community Oriented Services Program with Flint receiving $1.23 million for six officers. Other agencies receiving the money include Detroit, Redford Township and Roseville.
