Flint PD Receives Anonymous Million Dollar Donation

Actually, Flint PD says that it could be worth several million dollars.

Flint Police Chief Tim Johnson says that the donation will provide a replacement for every single squad car with a 2017 Chevy Tahoe, which comes out to about 40 new vehicles. Some of the squad cars have over 100K miles on them.

The donation will also provide a new bullet-proof vest for each one of its 110 officers. Most of the current vests are expired or will be in the near future.

The donor is a local business owner who wishes to remain anonymous, just wanted to help. Says a LOT about a person when they donate AND do so anonymously. Thank you, kind sir!
