A few months ago, Flint City Hall was investigated by the FBI and it looks like it's been an ongoing project. According to ABC-12, funding for $1.3 million in federal grants for the city of Flint has been suspended by the Department of Energy as they continue to investigate some of the funds and what they've been used for.

Flint isn't the only city being checked  and this is a way for the department to review how the city has been used the grant money. Mayor Dayne Walling had to turn over personnel files and they wanted information from April 2009, which was months before Walling took office.

The mayor also said in a press conference that his department is also doing their own investigation. In the meantime, grand funding has been temporarily suspended and no other details have been released.
