Tomorrow while you're out and about, you should head to the Flint Farmers' Market for the Taste of the Market, which starts at 11am and goes until 2pm. Five chefs will be offering healthy cooking demonstrations throughout the event.

The menu looks pretty good and you can sample food from Chef Mark Miller from Mark of Excellence Catering, Chef Steve McAllister from Lunch, Naturally, Chefs Tobin Looman and Rachel Limban from J Porters Steakhouse, Chef Dan Reyes from All Occasions Catering and Chef Mark Handy from Genesys Convalescence and Mott Community College Culinary Arts instructor.

While you're there, you can also try food from Artisans Gourmet Deli, which recently opened and meet Chef Douglas St. Souver, who's a Food Network champion. Rod and I met Doug yesterday and his new deli is fabulous. They have salads, soups, sandwiches, smoothies and desserts. The food is really good, so you should make it a point to stop by and say hello.

Tomorrow is the kick-off and every Thursday at noon there will be a featured chef providing other demonstrations. Head to the Flint Farmers' Market to find out more.
