Flint Family Passing Out Free Meals at Local Convenience Store

The group says that they plan to be out this Sunday, too.

Flint resident Shannon Earl and her "helpers" have been collecting food donations and cooking hot meals for the last four Sundays. They serve them out of a tent in the parking lot of Leith Food Mart.

They start serving dinner at 5 PM. Every week that they've set up, they've gotten more people to come out. Last week, they had over 50 people. She just wants those in need to know that there are people who care about them.

What a lovely, selfless thing to do! There are a LOT of good people out there.
