Flint Families Receive Bikes from Owner of Detroit Pistons

This happens every year, and every year, it makes our good news.

Because of a contribution from Detroit Pistons to Toys for Tots, kids in the Flint and Detroit areas are receiving gifts that they may not otherwise have gotten.

Tom Gores and his wife have supported this cause for the last 12 years without making a big fuss out of it (so we'll make a fuss for them), and they've delivered over 100,000 toys throughout those years.

The gifts were brought to the Genesee School District gymnasium - the gym was literally overflowing with toys, bikes and helmets.

Love that they do this and don't toot their own horn - "when you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence."
