Five-Year-Old Girl Taken On Wrong School Bus [VIDEO]

Parents of young children, use this as a reminder. Things like this do happen to the little ones.

The mother of a 5-year-old girl says her daughter was mistakenly dropped off by a school bus that she wasn't supposed to be on in the first place. The mother of a kindergartner says when school let out on Wednesday, her daughter was supposed to go to an after-school program.

Instead, the girl followed a friend, boarded a school bus and was dropped off at a South Side apartment complex, where another child's mother noticed her and promptly notified school officials.

Moms and dads, use this as a reminder that the real little ones are not always paying attention.
