The July 4th holiday brings numerous opportunities to take the family to see fireworks, and with the holiday falling on Wednesday several communities will be holding firework displays on different evenings.

Flint and several other cities and towns will be shooting off fireworks on Wednesday, July 4th. Bay City, notorious for its extravagant, multi-night displays will be holding off until Thursday when it begins three consecutive nights of fireworks.

  • Flint: Flint Water Festival at Riverbank Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Midland: Shot over the Tittabawassee River from the former 4D manufacturing site at 10 p.m.
  • Holly: Shot from Lakeside Memorial Park at 9 p.m.
  • Clio: Shot off from Clio City Park at dusk
