Final Ride for Bay City Man — Here’s What a Car Lover Funeral Looks Like [VIDEO]
Funerals are always a sad affair, but one Bay City man was able to participate in one last 'car show' before being laid to rest.
As reported in Milve, classic car enthusiast, Gene Thompson of Bay City was laid to rest Thursday. Thompson was working with his friend to finish up a restoration of a classic pickup. Sadly, Thompson was unable to finish the job. But his friend, Richard Spencer, brought his 1947 Ford pickup, to take Thompson to his resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Essexville.
What a wonderful way to go out, with one last car show, with your friends and family.
