Now more than ever, it's important to buy American.  Enjoying a glass of Merlot or Chardonnay is a great place to start!Saturday, April 9th the Flint Institute of Arts invites you to a wine tasting event featuring American wines called "Wine, an American Revolution".  Over 50 wines will be available for tasting, many from well-known locales.  Of course, Michigan will be well represented.  The event will feature food from some of the Flint area's finest restaurants;  Brick Street Bar and Grill, Luca's Chophouse, The French Laundry, Fandangles' and DaEduardo North Ristorante.  Joining them will be new establishments, such as Cork on Saginaw in Flint, Olio's Cafe and Grill in Clayton Township and Warwick Country Club in Grand Blanc Township.

Pastries and desserts from five area bakeries and sweet shops will be served in the FIA's spacious lobby.  Dessert wines and coffee will also be available.

In addition to the food and wine, three 15-minute "how-to" sessions on wine tasting will be offered.
