FIA Celebrates International Museum Day

The Flint Institute of Arts will join a worldwide community of 30,000 museums today to celebrate the 35th anniversary of International Museum Day. To mark the occasion the FIA will offer free admission to the galleries and special exhibitions all day. Currently on view at the FIA is "The Golden Age of Painting",

1600-1800 from the Speed Museum; Abstract Expressionism: Then and Now, and The Epic and the Intimate from the Snite Museum. Gallery hours are noon to 5 today!
