FBI Seeking Help Searching For Pedophile Caught on Video Abusing Young Boy
The FBI has launched a nationwide search for a man who was captured on tape sexually abusing a young boy. The man, known only as 'John Doe 28', is believed to be of American descent, and authorities say he could be anywhere in the United States.
The footage, discovered by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, was found on the hard drive of another man's computer. That man was arrested by San Francisco police on child pornography charges, unrelated to this man's case.
The FBI is making a nationwide appeal to anyone who may recognize the man, or the background images in the photos. They indicate that there may have been a blue sofa and chair in the background when the abuse was recorded. John Doe 28 is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, has a receding hairline, and may possibly be wearing wire-rim glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI's tip line: 800-225-5324.
