A 'War of the Worlds' style broadcast panicked locals in Northern Michigan, leading some to dial 911. The fake broadcast could spell trouble for radio station WGFM-FM in Cheboygan and its sister station in Glen Arbor.

The prank broadcast, which aired on Halloween night, detailed a train chemical spill which led victims to behave like zombies.

The 23-minute broadcast talks about "bath-salt style attacks" in Cadillac and Traverse City, Michigan, with "blood everywhere."

Officials in Grand Traverse County failed to see any humor in the prank. Jason Torrey, Deputy Director of the Grand Traverse 911 system tells Mlive he plans to review the broadcast, to determine if the radio station violated any FCC rules.

The Sound Cloud audio of the broadcast has been taken down.

Station personnel say they don't think the station did anything wrong legally.
