This story breaks my heart.

Heather Walker was banned from posting pictures of her newborn son on Facebook, after he was born with severe birth defects. Grayson James Walker was born with Anencephaly on February 15th, and lived for only about eight hours.

Anencephaly is a rare condition in which children are born without parts of the brain, skull, and scalp. Walker posted pictures of the infant without his hat, and they were soon taken down by Facebook. When she and her friends re-posted the photographs, the site banned her for 24 hours.

“They allow people to post almost nude pictures of themselves, profanity, and so many other things but I’m not allowed to share a picture of God’s beautiful creation.”

Today, as my family mourns the loss of an infant who was born into our family too early, only living a for a few precious minutes, I personally feel Heather's pain. You can read more about the Walker family's journey on her blog.
