‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ Canceled; Journey to Appear Tonight [VIDEO]

The plug is being pulled on on the power saws, and "Extreme Makeover:  Home Edition."

The handwriting has been on the newly-remodeled wall, since the show has lost roughly one third of its audience this season, which may be attributed partially to ABC's decision to move the reality show to Fridays.

ABC will, however, air four specials next year, after the 9th season ends on January 13th, with the show's 200th installment.

Tonight, the band Journey assists Ty Pennington and his crew in a special holiday edition of the show.

Pennington has already been tapped for a new daytime health and lifestyle show "The Revolution." It's slated to begin in January.
