Ex-Detroit Mayor Cashes Out Of Prison Bank – 28 Cents!
Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick walked away from prison on Tuesday, free on parole. Kilpatrick served more than a year for a probation violation in a 2008 criminal case. Before leaving prison, Kilpatrick cashed out his prison bank account, which contained 28 cents. He might have a chance to build a new account soon.....Kilpatrick is free on parole now, but still faces a federal corruption trial that could send him back to prison. Maybe his saving account can grow a little more.
