Conan O'Brien four, Jay Leno Zero. O'Brien, whose late night variety has only been on TBS since November, scored four Emmy award nominations, including outstanding variety, music or comedy series, as well as nominations for best writing and lighting. Rival Jay Leno, who knocked Conan out as host of NBC's "Tonight Show" received none.

ABC reports that Leno's Emmy neglect isn't quite as embarrassing as last year. Then, both versions of NBC's late-night institution — Conan's and Jay's — would have qualified for Emmys. "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" was nominated for best series and best writing. "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" came up dry.

Who gets your vote? Personally, I've never had much use for Jay Leno.  My preference for Letterman probably dates me a bit, but I do like Conan, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon as well.
