It seems mothers with newborn babies in 2014 are using the name Elsa now, more than ever, thanks to the success of Disney's 'Frozen.'

The UK parenting site BabyCentre (h/t Gawker) released a mid-year report of the top 100 baby names for boys and girls and according to their findings, the name Elsa has jumped 243 spots to number 88 due to the popularity of the 2013 animated movie.

While Anna is the heroine of the film, the name is pretty common which is why new moms in 2014 have turned to calling their baby girls Elsa, according to the site.

"Whilst the film's popular heroine is called Anna, Elsa offers a more unique name and is also a strong female role model", says Sarah Barrett, Managing Editor for BabyCentre.

Barrett continues, "Elsa is the ice queen but she sees the error of her ways and is shown to be a sensitive, but strong and confident character. Just in the way the name Arya from 'Game of Thrones' increased in popularity in 2013, films are hugely influential."
