Elderly Couple Have Close Encounter With Bear and Didn’t Even Know it [VIDEO]

Bob and Irene McKeown were leaving a house in Southern California and walked right past a bear that was standing on the porch.  They didn't even notice it.

The couple are from Scotland visiting so they're not used to dealing with bears.  This happened in Pasadena, California where bears aren't very common, but apparently this one has been coming into town on trash days to get food.  Bob says he felt the bear brush up against his leg. He thought it was a dog.
